What Can You Let Go Of This Summer?

A Poem for the Overloaded and Over-it

Summer says:

Hey.

Stretch out.

Slow down.

Take a real breath.

But if you’re the one who keeps it all going—

the planner, the doer, the one-everyone-turns-to—

summer might not feel light at all.

Because:

Work keeps working.

Kids bounce off the walls.

Plans change.

Routines vanish.

And your to-do list? Still very much alive.

Suddenly, a season that’s supposed to be spacious

feels like… more juggling in hotter weather.

So pause.

For real.

Just for a moment.

And ask:

What am I carrying

that I don’t actually need to?

If you're feeling pulled in too many directions or unsure of where to even begin letting go, I'm here. Let’s talk about how you can reclaim your energy and create a summer that feels less overwhelming and more aligned.
